"Remains are still trapped we cannot access from zones controlled by Israel," he noted.

Locals describe that from 21:30 local time on yesterday until early morning, Israeli artillery and air strikes targeted various districts of the urban center.

  • Bombardment was directed at the southern and western zones factory district, and college neighborhood, then came sustained attacks in Tel al-Hawa.
  • Afterwards, airstrikes targeted the al-Tuffah area and the public security compound.
  • In the early hours, warplanes hit the district, a refugee camp, and al-Jalaa Street, while shelling focused on that road near Hamid Roundabout and the medical facility.

Observers stated bombs dropped over residential areas in al-Nafaq and the neighborhood.
